The medal is inscribed ‘2263219 L.A.C. J.C.LOWE. R.A.F.’

The clasp was awarded for service during the Palestine state of emergency, from the 27^th of September 1945 to the 30^th of June 1948.

According to the only available record that can be found, JOHN LOWE enlisted after September 1945 at Padgate.
