F.W.WALKER. R.A.’\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eGunner WALKER originally held service number 151115 but was provided a new service number (936138) in the later renumbering of Territorial Force soldiers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThe original service number 151115 was believed to have been issued around May to August 1916, probably under the ‘Derby Scheme’, but in January 1917, to address the Royal Artillery’s administrative issue over the same service numbers being allocated to members of the corps, there was a dedicated renumbering of the Royal Artillery Territorial Force members, and gunner WALKER was provided with a new number, 936138.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eNo surviving record have been identified to indicate the exact battery, brigade or unit in which FRANK WALKER served, however, his later Territorial Force service number, 936138, is within the 935001–940000 block allocated to the 3rd London Brigade Royal Field Artillery, who later became the 282nd Brigade R.F.A.
